Summer Reading Program

This year's program, "On Your Mark, Get Set ... Read!" starts June 13! Come join the fun!

Why Join?
Research shows that kids experience loss of learning over non-school months. Our Summer Reading Program is a great way to help ensure successful learning, cultivate a love of reading, and to have fun at the library. And the best part: IT'S FREE!

What Happens?
Kids keep track of their reading throughout the summer. Each child who meets their reading goal gets a bag of prizes and is entered into our grand prize drawing.

We explore the summer theme through weekly activities.  As part of this year's Summer Olympics-themed program, we'll be practicing yoga, learning about air and breathing from the Mobius Science Center, and more!  Check out our event calendar for the full list of activities.

When and where? I'll be there!
The summer reading program is open to all children, birth through teens.  Bring this signed form with you to the library to register. Packets to track your child's reading will be available starting June 13 and weekly activities will start on June 17.

Who can join?
Anybody can join, birth to teen!
