Summer Reading Program

This year's program, "Libraries Rock!" starts         June 18! Come join the fun!

Why Join?
Research shows that kids experience loss of learning over non-school months. Our Summer Reading Program is a great way to help ensure successful learning, cultivate a love of reading, and to have fun at the library. And the best part: IT'S FREE!

What Happens?
Kids, teens and adults keep track of their reading throughout the summer. Everyone who meets their reading goal by August 25 gets a bag of prizes and is entered into our grand prize drawing.

We explore the summer theme through weekly activities.  As part of this year's "Libraries Rock!" themed program, we'll be learning more about music, geology, dinosaurs, and space!  Check out our event calendar for the full list of activities.

When and where? I'll be there!
The summer reading program is open to all ages, birth through adult.  There is no registration form this year. Packets to track yours and your child's reading will be available starting at our kickoff event on June 16 and weekly activities will start on June 18.

Who can join?
Anybody can join, birth to adult!
